What’s the best way to pick out the painted labels?   I’ve got hundreds of carts I’ll be going through soon and probably selling many for shells.  I don’t want to miss one.  What labels have been found with this?

For an Intellivision Super Pro system. Listed as untested, but the price is pretty reasonable and is a 'Buy It Now' auction at 99$ CAD.

Might be a great score if someone is up for a bit of a gamble and wants to take a chance it is a Tutorvision model?

I thought I recalled reading once that there was possibly a trick to identifying Tutorvisions by peering through the grill in the middle where the controllers tuck into. If you can see through the grill to the insides of the console, that was supposed to have been a good sign for Tutorvisions.

You're right on the money. You can possibly ID one by peeking through the bottom vents..if there's a clear enough (hopefully well lit) photo, with just the right angle. You won't know if it has the right chipset in it at a glance, but you'll be able to tell if it at least has the latest revision motherboard. I just wish I could find that post you're referring to here somewhere, which I think was by HumbleJack. He shows & explains things very well iirc.
