Intellivision Ebay Roundup

Recommended Posts

I bought an Intellivision and a couple of games at our Toys R Us in 1988 (or maybe 1989). They tried to talk me out of the purchase. Told me that they never sell and the Sega Master System would be a much better choice. I remember seeing plenty of Intellivision games on the shelves (you didn't need to grab a tag and get them from the cage like the rest of the games). I walked right past Stadium Mud Buggies and Spiker to grab a copy of Super Pro Football and Body Slam. We didn't play football much but Body Slam got its fair share of game time.

Wow how ironic. Yeah I distinctly remember getting Body Slam from my Toys R Us. They had many others too don’t remember if Spiker or SMB were there? My local video game store carried Thunder Castle, WC Baseball, WC Tennis, WC Soccer, Triple Challenge, & a few others I imagine.

The German Toys R Us never had Intellivision.

But it was the video game store to go for sure.

Almost all systems you could think of.

Even Atari VCS in the late 80s. Atari Lynx, 7800 and even the XEGS.

I've seen there obscure stuff like the Sega CDX (Mega Drive/Genesis portable incl. CD Rom).

But these times are now lost...like tears in the rain...

That's a very clean looking setup.  I see no cables anywhere.  Makes one wonder if it was staged.

Had to have been.  I don't think they had wireless sex robots back then.

Especially in 1980 or so with a B&W pic. Even the Blue Whale put out color.

When it comes to color, the Blue Whale didn't put out.  It only did B&W.  It had to use the Intellivision's STIC like a sugar daddy for color.

Where do you hang it now, in the bathroom?

Not free shipping to Canada.   Oh well.  ;)

With PayPal credit it's only $36 a month for 12 months.   That makes it painless.

That’s the same guy who is offering Spiker.

He is obviously selling off his collection.

I didn’t find any Spiker under that seller. Would you have a link?

This Walddie I think it’s a german reseller, that usually have high prices… I’ve seen him listing stuff now and then since 2019 (the year I got seriously ill (by collecting Intellivision!🤣))

You’re right, it was another seller. Go back to page 570 in this thread.
