Intellivision Ebay Roundup

Recommended Posts

Plus almost everyone's got a reason to push prices higher. Ebay and PayPal get more money in fees; resellers and brick-and-mortar stores make more money; and collectors feel legitimized by the hype ("Look how much my stuff is worth!"), and some hope to cash out before the bubble bursts. The main people who get screwed are the gamers and/or "casual" collectors who don't have deep pockets.

Why do you think I play everything in emulation? :-D

I have a media center pc with a ceton 4 tuner cablcard and blu ray/hd-dvd and i have the 360 adapter, but i hate the thought of using a keyboard to get in and out of emus

Very, very true. Someone needs to make a controller accessible front-end for Windows. Kinda like Big Picture Mode.

I have the red demo cart, is that one common or rare? I found it in the wild years ago, haven't really followed demo cart rarity.

Unsure, but would also like to know

That one is fairly rare, particularly if it's boxed.

I'm shocked nobody has bought this yet. It seems about half of what other people sell it for. I know a boxed copy of Defender can sell for $60+ and people trying to sell the cart for around $30. Maybe this attests to the fact there seems to be no demand for loose games anymore.

I saw when it originally listed and though it would go instantly. At least 2 auctions recently went for ~$30 (although at least one had the manual), but no biters for $15 Defender with a free Centipede :-) Oh, it finally sold.

I can't bid since it's not available to Canada, but lots of goodies in here, Fathom, Dig Dug, Diner, Turbo, Defender, Centipede etc

This will be a fun one, I just don't understand why seemingly almost all the rarer games are at, or near, the bottom of the piles getting squished?!?! That poor Turbo! :)
