Boston Phoenix top 500 games of all time

There's the phoenix top 50 and another top 500.

 

I guess gaming started with the NES.

Pitfall! is somewhere down on the list, many classics are completely missing. I suppose the average visitor of that website is ~20 years old.

Yeah, they did show some love to some Atari 2600 games. What really sucks is to see that the Atari 2600 got 3 of the top 50 worst games of all time. Custer's Revenge I can see, and E.T. because of those huge holes, but Montezuma's Revenge? That is an all time classic. They also had Track N' Field at a top 50 bad game. Today's gamers have absolutely no respect for the all time classics.

Montezuma's Revenge is absolutely a great game! It probably made the list based on the funny name.
