NIAD #2 Posted December 19, 2010 Pixelboy, did you whip Albert into shape yet? If was just mentioned a couple days ago the 5-11under would be assembling the PCBs. So HOPEFULLY within a month I'll be able to liberate about $180 from my bank account for Team Pixelboy's six new offerings!

So HOPEFULLY within a month I'll be able to liberate about $180 from my bank account for Team Pixelboy's six new offerings! Last I heard from 5-11under, he was making good progress and he thought he would be done during the week-end and he expected being able to ship the assembled carts tomorrow (Monday). But I haven't heard from him at all today, so I don't know if the job is done or not. I'm keepin' my fingers crossed.

Looks like 2011 might turn into year of the CV.

Pixelboy #6 Posted December 20, 2010 ok, so you are no longer waiting on al? Nope, Albert sent the PCBs and EPROMs to 5-11under, who has already begun soldering the electronics together. Albert also sent him the cart shells, so Harvey will perform the extra step of assembling the cartridges before shipping them to me. I'll just need to perform a quick test on each cart, and then apply the cart labels, and I can finally get the ball rolling with sales. are you going to make a pre order thread or just email me when it is close to release. I'm just going to e-mail everyone on my waiting lists. That was always the plan. i dont want to miss it, cause pitfall is one of my favorites! Don't worry, I keep precise records, so unless you've changed e-mail addresses since you contacted me, you'll get an e-mail from me when the games are ready to be purchased. The only problem is that I will only have 50 copies of Pitfall II Arcade and 30 copies of Track & Field to offer initially. It should be enough to cover most of the initial demand for those two games, but I will still have to work on a first-come-first-serve basis where those two games are concerned: I will contact everybody on the same day, but those who will reply to me the soonest will get a copy. The rest (if there are any) will have to wait until next February.

Pixelboy #9 Posted December 20, 2010 i only check my email every few weeks. am i screwed? When I know the AtariAge forum username of a customer, I always send a PM just after sending an e-mail, as a sort of backup. That way, I double the odds of reaching the customer ASAP. So if you drop by these forums often, you'll get a PM from me for sure.

Visit my web site (see signature below) and use the e-mail address you will find there to contact me and place a pre-order for any game that interests you. As a reminder, the six upcoming games are: Gulkave, Girl's Garden, Peek-a-boo, Pitfall II Arcade, Track & Field and Destructor SCE (I should point out that Peek-a-boo is already sold out). According to the lady at the Post Office, Pixelboy should have the "bare" carts tomorrow (although in theory it could be a day later). He'll need to clean the dust off a few of them, put the labels on, and carry on from there.

I was actually wondering, is this some weird trick Luc has for cleaning the carts??? LOL! Yes, all my carts are cleaned using natural products! No harsh chemicals!
