Pitfall update?

Dude (and when I say "dude", I don't mean just you, but you and everyone else on these boards, including the dudettes), I keep strict and precise pre-order records, and if you contacted me at any time in the past to pre-order one of my Team Pixelboy games, then you can be sure that you are still on my list and you will be contacted when the proper time comes.

 

Now with this said, I do have some [sarcasm]moderately[/sarcasm] good news to announce: I received the Pitfall II Arcade and Track & Field carts from 5-11under this morning! I'll be briefly testing these carts tonight, and then I'll spend all day tomorrow putting labels on them and getting everything else ready.

 

Like I said before, I only have 50 Pitfall and 30 T&F carts (more will be assembled in early 2011) so here's how this is going to go down: I will send e-mails to everybody on my waiting lists on Christmas day (with an additional AtariAge PM when possible), but I will not reply to anyone until December 26th. The reason for this is that I have a Christmas party to go to in the after-noon, and I will be spending all of Christmas morning sending personalized e-mails to people. Based on past experience, I can say that just writing up and sending all these personalized e-mails will require 100% of my free time that day. I do have very long waiting lists for these games.

 

On December 26th, I will begin to reply to e-mails in the order in which I receive them. So the first 47 people to reply about Pitfall II Arcade will score a copy, and the first 27 to reply about Track & Field will score a copy. Beyond that, you'll have to wait until mid-to-late-February for a copy of either of these games.

 

If you previously placed a pre-order but don't receive an e-mail from me on Christmas day, first check your junk box, and if you really haven't received any message, don't sweat it too much: I will probably have just run out of time before going to the Chsritmas party, and I'll contact you on the morning of the 26th. I'll do my very best to contact everyone on the 25th, of course.

 

I should mention that I haven't bought any shipping boxes or bubble wrap yet, so even if you pay for your order promptly, it may take several days before your package is shipped. I couldn't get any vacation autorization from my boss this year, so I'll have to go to work on the 28th, 29th and 30th, and that will slow down my efforts even more. Rest assured that I will provide the best service possible under these circumstances.

 

I can hardly believe I will FINALLY soon be able to start selling these games...
