When I first got this unit, I could not get it to accept any input from a known good controller on Port 1. I swapped out all of the socketed ICs for known good ones, but the problem persisted. In order to fix another 5200, I cannibalized the case, all 8 RAM chips, and the POKEY. The case I replaced it with has a plastic port cover that has a couple of broken tabs, so it comes off if you're not careful. It will stay on if undisturbed, however. The metal faceplate has light scratches and dents. However, the controller well cover is intact (no broken hinges). There is no reel on the bottom for wrapping the RF cord. Crevices are a little dusty. The RF shield can be removed, and all of the metal tabs are intact and straight. Even though there are no RAM chips or POKEY, I *think* all of the other ICs are functional. Free for the cost of shipping to a good home. Shipping weight should be 8# from 54701. CONUS only.
