tz101 #2 Posted December 28, 2010 Not bad. I bought some difficult to find carts from ebay for relatively cheap. Dreadnaught factor for INTV, Stargate for VCS, Defender II for VCS, Donkey Kong for 7800, Donkey Kong Jr. for 7800, and Dolphin for VCS. Also got some good finds at used game stores: Tecmo Classic Arcade for xbox, F1 Championship for Saturn, and CIB Gauntlet II for NES. Not a bad month overall. JPjuice23 #4 Posted December 28, 2010 Semi-dumb question, when you guys mean "Finds" does this mean Swap Meets and stuff like that, or stuff you got from Ebay as well? It's pretty impressive if you got all that stuff from a swap meet HatefulGravey.
GKC #5 Posted December 28, 2010 I forgot my Sega 32x finds. How could anyone forget the 32x right? Metal Head Knuckles Chatix Cosmic Carnage Moto Cross Championship CIB Virtual Racing CIB I've been having a lot of fun with the 32x. Some bad games but overall it's a pretty underrated system. How is the Moto Cross game? I notice it can be had on ebay for pretty cheap. Is it worth the $5-$15 it goes for?
HatefulGravey #6 Posted December 28, 2010 I've been having a lot of fun with the 32x. Some bad games but overall it's a pretty underrated system. How is the Moto Cross game? I notice it can be had on ebay for pretty cheap. Is it worth the $5-$15 it goes for? I paid $5 for it CIB. I believe it was worth that. It isn't a great game, but its passable. Don't know that I would pay $15 for it unless I just had to have another 32x game. JPjuice23, there are no swap meet type things around my area ever. I have spent a year talking to thrift store owners, pawn shop managers, and everyone that mentions gaming in the area. I get a lot of people calling me saying "so and so told me to call you about my old Atari" and it works to my advantage. I also have friends that clue me in when they see things that mean there may be gaming stuff around a place. You learn to see signs that old games are around after you spend enough time looking for this stuff. Most of my finds are from the feelers I put out (which is great because people will often give you this stuff free because it has no value to them) or flea markets. Rarely a thrift store comes through, this month my colecovision, and 7800 came from thrift stores, and a friend gave me his old Virtual Boy he found helping his parents move some stuff.
