lapetino #1 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) So, I'm looking to get a 7800 system with joysticks and power adapter now that I've pre-ordered Curt's awesome 7800 XM. And it's been suggested that some relatives would like to purchase it for me for my upcoming birthday. But they are understandably wary about ordering something like that on eBay without me. Do you all have suggestions for trustworthy online places to buy a well-conditioned 7800 system? I'd normally go to atari2600.com, but it looks like they've just sold out of them. And Best Electronics site is scary for anyone. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Edited December 29, 2010 by lapetino
jaybird3rd #2 Posted December 29, 2010 B&C ComputerVisions sells 7800 consoles, software, and accessories; here is a link to their 7800 listings. I've bought several consoles from B&C over the years (I got my first 7800 from them in 1998), and I can tell you that they always arrive in excellent condition. You might also consider getting one from 4Jays. I've never bought one of their 7800 systems, but I've bought other items from them, and their service is excellent also. +save2600 #3 Posted December 29, 2010 And Best Electronics site is scary for anyone. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Best's site gives me a headache too, but you can always simply E-mail Brad and ask him directly. He's usually pretty good about responding.

nathanallan #5 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) Seconded on 4Jays and Best, great people to work with. /edit Wow, 4Jays is growing, good for him! He has a much larger C64 section than I remember, a whole computer for $35, not bad at all. Edited December 29, 2010 by nathanallan
mimo #6 Posted December 30, 2010 You could try Steve "Atarimax" Tucker. A great guy to deal with. He is CLASSICS on these forums http://www.atarimax.com/classic/forsale/index.html
lapetino #7 Posted January 1, 2011 Thanks for the input, everyone. Looks like 4Jays is what they might be going with. Also, it looks like Sean from Videogames Etc has them locally here as well, in Chicago.
