Inky #1 Posted January 7, 2011 How much is a Tron cocktail worth? THere's a garage sale nearby that has this and a Capcom Bowling for sale.
Mirage #2 Posted January 7, 2011 Holy crap, I have no idea, but how cool would that be to have! Get Frank in here!
Inky #3 Posted January 7, 2011 Well, the AD actually says "Tron Tabeltop Coin-Op" with the word RARE next to it. I'm gonna head out there tomorrow morning and try to get some pix of it, if its still there.

If the cocktail is listed lower than that I would say that's one heck of a deal.
Arkhan #5 Posted January 8, 2011 How much is a Tron cocktail worth? THere's a garage sale nearby that has this and a Capcom Bowling for sale. Its worthless. Maybe 5$. Ill give you 10, send it over. in all seriousness, how much are they asking for it?
R.O.T.S #6 Posted January 8, 2011 Tron cocktail sounds interesting,i have seen a few pics of them on various arcade collecting forums and the enviromental cabinets too that you stand inside, very very nice indeed. Intersting timing too getting rid of a Tron cocktail after the new film has been released :-)

Intersting timing too getting rid of a Tron cocktail after the new film has been released :-) A lot of people are dumping their Tron cabinets cuz the time is right. A local collector put his on Auction last month at the show here in Harrisburg. His buy it now was $1200 but I haven't followed up with him to see how the sale went. Inky #8 Posted January 8, 2011 (edited) He was nice enough to let me snap a few pix, and play it. He wants $2000 for it... Edited January 8, 2011 by Inky
Mirage #9 Posted January 8, 2011 Yikes, I guess it wouldn't be $2000 cool to have. Looks like it's just the same as any Pac-Man/Galaxian cocktail just with different graphics.

+save2600 #12 Posted January 9, 2011 Holy crap, I have no idea, but how cool would that be to have! Get Frank in here! Haha... Two years ago, I passed on one for $500 and it was in nice shape. Wanted an upright instead and Rmaerz is spot on. $1200 is exactly what I ended up selling mine for after I restored it. $2k is nutz for a cocktail version. Does not have the appeal of the UR as it lacks all of the cool bezel artwork, backdrop, sideart and blue handled joystick. $500-$700 seems more reasonable to me. Mirage #13 Posted January 9, 2011 I should have turned my Galaxian into that instead... surely someone is making a repro of that Tron underlay too. But I agree... when this thread started, I was envisioning the Tron cocktail to be a lot more unique... it's really quite boring compared to the upright. I would prefer the upright myself for all the reasons you gave. I could be totally wrong, but my hunch is that the cocktail will be more simply because you do not see many of them. On a side note, can you believe that someone locally on CraigsList posted a Tron upright for $100 only a few months ago? Damn, I'm kicking myself in the a55 for not getting first dibs on that one... VectorGamer #15 Posted January 9, 2011 I don't recall seeing a cocktail in Kurtz's Encyclopedia but I'll doing some checking and see if it's there and if so what he says the value is...
