Who was making the Portable 2600

I cannot recall who was working on it, and what ever happened. I remember being very impressed with the progress early last year. I need something cool and retro to "Happen to have handy" lying in the car if I go to my 30 year high school reunion this year.

I really want a portable 2600. Either project unity or a portable atari flashback. Just give it to me already.

What ever I get/make, I really want to be able to hook up a real cart. Even if something like Project Unity, I would want a dongle that can connect to a cart port, just for testing carts in the wild.
