Cupcakus #1 Posted December 10, 2002 Just keeping you all updated on how things are going.... Things are moving very smoothly, I have the major BS routines working and will begin working on the RAM functions within the next couple of days... I had some major problems getting Pitfall! to work... I don't know why, but it just wouldn't display... So I've spent over a week getting Pitfall! to work, and this morning I had a breakthrough! :-) Big thanks to bcprs1 for sending me an Asteroids cart I won in his 400th post contest, because it contained the lucky PCB that will play Pitfall!... for some reason the other PCB's I had hacked up just couldn't take it... It's just too much of a game for a Pac-Man PCB I guess :-) Sorry to hack up your prize bcprs1 but it's paving the way towards a brighter tommorrow :-) Here are three webcam shots I took... One is of the cartridge in the 2600, one is of Pitfall! running with a strange pit anomoly I got when the game first started working, and the last is a shot of the screen after I fixed the glitch that was causing the graphics around the pit's to go screwy. A cool thing about that glitch however, was it caused a cool artifact on the opening and closing ponds that let you know exactly how much time you had until it opened again... but alas that was fixed too... sorry! Big Player #2 Posted December 10, 2002 I think all of my routines are BS. Seriously though, this looks great. I'm definitely interested in the final product. Thanks for the update.

Cupcakus #7 Posted December 10, 2002 A lot of really good games use the superchip memory. It would be a shame if we couldn't enjoy them :-) I will be taking photo's later this week of some homebrews running great on it :-) Including Marble Craze!!!!!!! Thanks again Paul!
