Yurkie #2 Posted January 11, 2011 Welcome to AtariAge. The CV portable however, is old news. I actually know the guy that commissioned it and held it in my hands about 2 years ago. Didn't get to play it though.
Jordiway73 #3 Posted January 11, 2011 Yeah I know its from 2005 but with all the talk of the new CV2, and how could you hold this thing without playing it?
SlowCoder #4 Posted January 11, 2011 how could you hold this thing without playing it? Yurkie, he's got a point. And more than that point, why didn't you run out with it? Obviously you weren't thinking right.
Yurkie #5 Posted January 11, 2011 Yeah I know its from 2005 but with all the talk of the new CV2, and how could you hold this thing without playing it? The battery wasn't charged. A memory module that plugs into the expansion module slot has been in the works for a couple years and still hasn't been completed. I wouldn't hold your breath on a CV2. My guess is if a CV2 is ever released it will be 5 years or more. On the plus side, there are a lot of new homebrew releases available right now. PAC-MAN PRIME #6 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm still somewhat of a newcomer to the CV, so I haven't seen that yet. Very cool! Welcome to AA!
NIAD #7 Posted January 13, 2011 (edited) I'm still somewhat of a newcomer to the CV, so I haven't seen that yet. Very cool! Welcome to AA! Hopefully around summer-time, CollectorVision (retroillucid) will be releasing "The ColecoVision & ADAM Virtual Musuem DVD". This DVD will contain information about almost everything ever done for these systems and a whole lot more. Watch for it, as it's going to be something special... I should know, I'm working on it with him. So don't feel bad being a johnny-come-lately, we're going to do our best to help everyone catch-up!
