Stan #1 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) I've been trimming down my various collections to stuff I actually use and/or need. The following list is in no particular order. One or two of the items aren't that important, but they are CIB. My collection is quite special to me, so the majority of these are in EXCELLENT condition with only some minor wear, tears, or scuffs. Just want to get some interest first before I pull it out and take pictures because it's stored away currently. Just no reason to own some of this stuff in the box anymore, it just takes up space and I'm all about the gaming aspect of collecting, not really the collecting of collecting, if that makes sense. Anyway, here is the list. PM or post with interest or offers. If you want trade, there is only one thing I need, a loose Quadrun in good condition. Edit: Added a general price guide, feel free to haggle. Rapid Fire Unit (rare mail-away version): $30 Rapid Fire Control Stick (NTSC): $40 SG Commander (box a little beat up, but not that bad): $80 Control Pad (SEALED): $50 SMS II (NTSC, US model): $250 Wico Wireless Control Pads: $40 Light Phaser (NTSC): $25 Control Stick (NTSC, starburst variant): $5 Nuby Cartridge Soft Pack: $30 HES SMS to Megadrive Converter: $40 Nuby Cartridge Caddy: $20 Wizmaster Controller: $40 Ultimate Superstick (VERY rare, might be a store/show demo, no known instructions): $100 Tec Toy Manche (someone already looking for this one): $50 Superscope 3D SMS I (NTSC, awesome condition): $200 Handle Controller: $100 Sports Pad (NTSC): $30 Edit: Here is a link to Sega8Bit.com, where you can view the thread I talk about these same items in. One has been added above. The first post shows you all the items through links to our database. http://shinobiman.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wants&action=display&thread=8114&page=1 Edited January 14, 2011 by Stan
the.golden.ax #2 Posted January 11, 2011 Pics and prices would go a long way on this one. Without knowing condition it's hard to know what to offer. AX
Stan #3 Posted January 11, 2011 I'm telling you, it's all in pratically mint shape. I'd love to take pictures, but I want to see what people have to say first, I've added a general price guide to the original post.
the.golden.ax #4 Posted January 11, 2011 For some reason Atari Age wasn't working for a half hour for me. Anyway I was trying to post... If the Wico wireless and Phaser are boxed I may want those. I'd love some pics. AX
Stan #5 Posted January 11, 2011 As stated, EVERYTHING complete in box! I'll get those pictures to you soon. I need to take some anyway for everyone else on sega8bit.com that was interested. Those two items, actually, everyone seemed to skip on so far so lucky you!
the.golden.ax #6 Posted January 11, 2011 One or two of the items aren't that important, but they are CIB. Led me to believe that the unimportant items were the only CIB items. A group shot would be cool. The system is outside my budget, but I'd love to see what it comes with (Sonic version?) AX

Stan #8 Posted January 12, 2011 What a dummy I am. I forgot I took a picture of most of this stuff awhile ago for sega8bit.com's member collection page. Here's a decent shot of all of the stuff. This was taken a few years ago. Most of the third-party controllers you'll see in there were sold two years ago, but you can see the majority of what I have for sale in there. It appears the Phaser I have is actually a rarer Tec Toy version. Not much difference, but kind of cool. Anyway, here's the link: http://www.smstributes.co.uk/view_page.asp?articleid=
Chris Leach #9 Posted January 12, 2011 THats a pretty healthy master system collection you got there...what are u looking for as far as trade for some of those boxed games?
Stan #10 Posted January 12, 2011 THats a pretty healthy master system collection you got there...what are u looking for as far as trade for some of those boxed games? Haaaahhah, sorry, that ain't happening. I'm keeping the things I use, and I use the games. That picture doesn't even show what I have now. I have essentially every game ever made. I don't think I even owned Mah-Jong at that time. I also have all the Tec Toy hacks and exclusives COMPLETE, as well as a full Japanese set (focusing on titles that were significantly different or exclusive to Japan). I even have an unreleased NTSC prototype and some other things. The only pain I haven't experienced yet is the Korean market. God how I don't want to but must.
the.golden.ax #11 Posted January 12, 2011 Was that an official Wireless Master controller in the big picture? AX
Stan #12 Posted January 12, 2011 Yes, and that's the one I'm selling. If you mean the Wico. Wico was licensed to sell it by Sega and based it on the Genesis' stock controller. There are several wireless controllers and joysticks in those pictures, but I assume you mean the one in the second picture that has the SMS box design. Stan #14 Posted January 12, 2011 Nah, I'm pretty much done with my collecting days. I'm all about playing and enjoying my collection now. I've gotten rid of a number of items over the past two years that were just sitting there. I just don't feel a reason for having huge boxes of things sitting around just to say "check it out I own that". No reason for it. Other than rare stuff like the store demo, which actually can be used as a TV stand, no reason.
Cebus Capucinis #15 Posted January 12, 2011 :( Anyone want to buy a kidney? Or perhaps you're just willing to trade for my kidney, Stan? That is a lot of AWESOME stuff you have!
Stan #16 Posted January 12, 2011 Hahahahaha, sure, I guess I can put it on ice for future use. I really should take more pictures of my collection. I have a ton of stuff for other systems. I primarily focus on NES and SMS and am pretty much done with that stuff, but I have a sizable collection of other systems too. My Atari 2600 collection is probably my second or third best. I have some pretty rare games in there, but I only collect loose and occasionally some manuals if I can pick them up at decent prices. I love my game cabinet too, there's a picture of it somewhere on this forum (not marketplace, I mean the whole forum) that I took awhile ago. Once I get Quadrun my 2600 collecting days are over, other than a false hope I can some day enjoy Video Life at home.

CC you still got that ol' kidney lying around....god! If only I had something to trade ya for it? Is it on Ice or do you keep it on the ol' salt block? Stan #19 Posted January 12, 2011 That baby is rigged to light up. I like it though. Hmmm, I don't know, shoot me an offer. I have a bunch of white LEDs in it now.
Stan #20 Posted January 13, 2011 Just letting everyone interested know. I've taken pictures of all of this stuff in detail today. This weekend I'm going to upload all of them to our database because I need to do that, and then I'll post the links of the items so you can see there parts, condition, etc.
