Super MVS converter and Neo Geo multicarts

Recommended Posts

Hello:)

Got a question about the Super MVS converter. It says that ALL Neo Geo MVS carts will work with this..

http://www.neostore.com/Super-MVS-Convertor-II-p/1178.htm

Does anyone know if that includes the Multicarts? If so this would be a nice little set-up for my nerd cave since space (and price) become an issue when collecting Neo Geo. Anybody try it for multicarts? Thanks! :)

I have heard that multicarts work with that converter. In fact, I'm pretty sure if you do a youtube search for neo geo multi cart...or something like that, you can see someone using one on an AES.

That said, the Super MVS II may boot all games, but that doesn't mean they work right. Many games that have scaling graphics glitch while scaling. Not exactly 100% compatibility.

Also, multicarts line the pockets of Chinese bootleggers.

I, too, read that the Super Converter II is 100% compatible (apparently you have to adjust the little screw sometimes - I've not had to do this yet). I haven't had any real problems with compatibility with it (yet), but have mostly used it with a multi-cart and have been slowly building up my MVS games. I imagine it would work for you, too.
