Questions about Tigervision's two prototypes

Recommended Posts

I just wondering where are the orginal Tigervision's prototype of Intuition and Scraper Caper?? Anyone know who have these prototypes?

I always wondering what is happening with Intuition and Scraper Caper? Maybe they dropped them and changed to Miner 2049er II and Espial? Is that true?

Nobody knows if those games indeed even got to prototype stage. From what I've heard of Scraper Caper I doubt it ever made it to a playable state (Bill said it was scrapped pretty early), but Intuition may be out there somewhere.

They weren't changed to Miner II and Espial since they all have different part numbers.

And different games! At least I assume Intuition was, since Espial was a licensed title...

And hey, what about Super Crush? That's another I was looking forward to (supposedly a car combat game; I'm so pre-Twisted-Metal).

You can read about Scraper Caper at Big Five Software's site.

It doesn't mention anything about Scraper Caper being ported over to the 2600, although it does mention they never even finished up the game at all (in fact, it mentions two failed attempts at it). That being the case, I doubt that the 2600 version ever got started.

I do have an issue of Electronic Games somewhere with the ad for Scraper Caper in it, but I don't recall if Tigervision was mentioned in the ad or not. I'd have to dig it up.
