80k GRAM Kracker for sale

It's as I feared... The GK will have to go. I just got back from the road and have determined that we need a new trailer. Tired of renting. Really sucks, but real life intercedes again. This GK is immaculate and in marvellous shape. It also includes all the GK utilities, GRAM Packer software and manuals, and more. I've posted a couple pics here if anyone's interested. I've only seen one other GRAM Kracker this complete and in this condition, and it sold for over $500. I wanted to post here to REAL 99ers before trying eBay. Need the money pretty quickly, so PayPal is the only medium I'll be accepting for this item. I'm listing this item at $400 with everything included... If there are no takers in a day or two, I'll post it to eBay... but as I said, I wanted to give you all first crack at it. If you know anyone who wants one or if someone wishes to cross-post this to Yahoo, that would be great. Hope to make someone happy as WELL as getting the new trailer we need for the band. Please post questions, comments, etc to this thread. If/When it sells, I'll post that here so that you all will know it's sold. Thanks

That guy who is first on bid list is holding price above 200$. I was trying to put my price, but that guy is holding it high. I was hoping that he will stop at 200 but he isn't stoping at that price. :(

I know the guy selling it, Ernie. He's a great guy! Whomever wins it can be rest assured that it was well taken care of.

Can't something more modern be built for a fraction of these eBay prices?

I've never got the chance to own one and still would LOVE to but, I just can't bring myself to spend that much on something I can't see myself using - that much. I'd rather get a set of new tires for my car (I'll use that everyday!) or better yet, build my own GK! At least I'd have learned something for the money. hehe

A much more doable Gram device project would be the Pgram. I've owned a few, as well as a Gram Kracker and found them to be more reliable and as useful (if not more so) than the Gram Kracker. Maybe Bud even has a few bare boards left. If not, he's certainly still got the layouts. They use all off-the-shelf parts, no special pals or gals ore anything like that. I'm betting that if there were a run of boards and a bulk parts buy were done, the cost would come in at less than $100. I might even like to have one again. :)
