Dauber #1 Posted January 16, 2011 I don't believe it...I was reading the Red Eye, which is the free daily newspaper in Chicago that the Chicago Tribune puts out... Anyway...I have a habit of not reading it until right before bed....so last night, I noticed in the page that lists the goings-on on the weekend, that Steve Wiebe was in town to attempt to break his Donkey Kong world record, at a place called Logan Hardware. I never knew about it until it was too late. And where was I when he showed up to break his record? Two blocks away at the Microcenter. Arghhh!!! BydoEmpire #2 Posted January 20, 2011 Not to rub it in, but a friend of mine went to that and said it was awesome. They were expecting about 30 people and got over 100, so they had to ditch the "meet and greet" portion (which sucked for my friend because he brought DK and DK Jr. marquees to get autographed). He did get some excellent DK gameplay and scoring tips, though, and got to ask him a question about something.
