Rev. Rob #1 Posted January 18, 2011 I've never actually seen a ROM of this, I've only heard rumor. It sounds good, so I am trying to find it. The concept is like breakout, but the blocks are in the center of the screen separating it. Players are on each side of the screen. The catch is that if player 1's ball goes to player 2's side, and player 2 does not save it, then it's lost and player 1 loses a ball. Anyone hear of this? Was it ever made? It's been years since someone told me about it back on the old IGN boards (when it was free). It was supposed to be for 2600.

People even had paid money for it (which was refunded much later), but the game never materialized. Check the [stella] mailing list, there should be some threads about it. Devin #3 Posted January 20, 2011 That sounds like an interesting idea. It kinda sounds like the Galaxian Table-Top game. There was a game variation where two ships where defended by their "aliens" on opposite sides.
+Nathan Strum #4 Posted January 20, 2011 There's a Flash version of it online here. It's a cool concept, sort of like head-to-head Arkanoid.
yuppicide #5 Posted January 30, 2011 Sounds like breakout and pong in one.
