Generally in less used areas of their houses like guest bedrooms. They keep them for when power is lost and they need to be able to make and receive calls. Rural areas where cells don't work well, so can't be relied on as backups. Your statement was completely valid. Besides, this is retro forum. Who WOULDN'T want a cool old school rotary?
