the.golden.ax #2 Posted January 23, 2011 I'm looking as well. Perhaps we could work together to nab a lot from overseas and split it up. AX

If you find something let me know, I only found single games. I'm willing to pay more for a game that I really want, but I'm not sure what I really want. Most games for CD32, honestly speaking, are not that great, its hard to find a gem, or a "system seller".
stjames88 #4 Posted January 24, 2011 If you guys want to do the lot thing, let me know....I would also be in. They are really hard to find, even on eBay. I was going to try and snipe Defender of the Crown II a few weeks back and the game sold for $110.00. Higher then I wanted to go..
Elerach #5 Posted January 24, 2011 Ax, if you could get ahold of a large lot i would love to pitch in and buy some!

Just watched this game on Youtube, looks nice, and it's not even made for CD32, it's for CDTV.
the.golden.ax #7 Posted January 25, 2011 I've got a lead on a few goodies ATM, but waiting for some confirmations. These are not going to be cheap. 30 to 60 games are going to run 400 - 800 GPB (but the good stuff). AX
stjames88 #8 Posted January 25, 2011 Ironically, When I recieved the CD32 lot, the Defender of the Crown game was one of the included titles, albiet a loose copy. I was planning on bidding on it so I had a decent game when the unit arrived. It is the best of the 15 or so games that I recieved with the unit. I was a tad disapointed as it is really just DOTC 1 w/some minor graphical enhancements.....and I do mean minor. The load times are much quicker then what I remember for the C64 though, so thats a plus. As far as pitching in for a lot, I would kick in $100-$300 depending on how many people we can get to go in on it. I vote that Ax gets to divide the lot up, or figure out a way to make it fair for all involved. Everyone would have to let Ax know which titles they already have to lessen the possibility of getting dupes.
the.golden.ax #9 Posted January 25, 2011 I like really stupid sidescrollers like James Pond and Beavers so I should be relatively neutral there. The shooters may be the one area where we all clash, I like those quite a bit as well AX
amiman99 #10 Posted January 26, 2011 This web site shows all titles for CDTV and CD32 with price guides for most titles http://www.amigacd32.com/index.php Personally I have a "wanted list" for both systems, if someone is ready to get a lot, let us know, we could PM the list. I'm willing to pay same or little bit more then the guide list. Cases or inserts does not matter to me.
the.golden.ax #11 Posted January 26, 2011 Don't know if that is a price guide per say. From what I've found it's unrealistic. If I could buy the bulk of the games for under $10 I'd have one heck of a collection already. AX

If I could buy the bulk of the games for under $10 I'd have one heck of a collection already. AX I know that these prices are somehow lower then most people will pay, but we need to be realistic and acknowledge that most games for CD32 are crap (sorry for my language). It took me awhile to figure out which games I really want, and willing to pay some money for it. I usually go for games that I want play, not because is a #9 or #10 in rarity scale. Looking at Ebays "Completed Items" , the average SOLD price for CD32 games is $10-$20, are there are some that did not sell for less then $5.

Realistic: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 160528539607 Unrealistic: Ooops, link won't work, They have it listed for $18. I wish we could find them at the prices listed on that page. Nice to have a decent game list to work off of though. The Wiki list is not very good, this is much better. It's hard to believe that this many titles were released for a system that was only available for a few years. BTW, if someone wants to jump on this bandwagon with us, there is a nice boxed unit up on ebay right now: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190494684468

That CD32 will probably go between $150 and $200, and last year they were going for less then $100 brand new from China. go figure???
stjames88 #15 Posted January 26, 2011 Yeah, I would say at least $200. I have been watching cd32 auctions for the last month or so, and the last boxed one went for $260ish. How many came out of China? I read on Wiki that only 100,000 units were produced(sold?) worldwide, with the majority of those being PAL units. Was there a time last year when there were multiple systems listed at the same time? BTW, I should have ammended my Unrealistic/realistic post to unrealistic/outrageous. Even though thats a R9 game....$110.00?? For real?
