last nite i dreamed i went into a house like a garage sale and found a bunch of 2600 stuff. i seen a quadrun plus other rares and hundreds apon hundreds of carts and about 10 heavy sixers and a rainbow console. the guy was a big atari colector but he died so i talked to his wife. she gave all of it to me for $10.

 

then i walked out of the house and fell off a cliff. then i woke up and said "dam". that dream made me depressed the whole day.

It sounds like you had one of those "Reef store" dreams. Um I usually don't dream but yesterday I did dream about playing Space Invaders with non other than Gwen Steffani from No Doubt, the strange thing is that she wasn't paying attention to the game because she was trying to convince me to buy her latest CD (he! right she doesn't need to convince me anyway), but I was like "hey watch those aliens, keep an eye on the screen" and stuff. Not exactly a Reef Store dream but Atari related, Um ok that was the last time I eat something spicy before going to bed LOL

ive had dreams about classic games that never existed. its usually a vectrex game. very weird. its never games that actually existed

Yep, used to have 'em about Star Wars figures - shopping at an out of the way K-Mart, and finding racks of vintage figures... now I get the Atari dreams...

This has to do with dreams and Atari, but not the 2600.

 

When I was a kid and had my 16K 600XL, I used to dream that it was an 800XL, that it really was longer in the back (the 800XL is deeper than the 600XL) and therefore had the extra memory. I also dreamed that I had the memory expansion module, which in the day I could never find. It wasn't until I got a Best Electronics catalogue that I even saw a picture of the thing.
