Got an Intellivision and stuff

astrosmash and astroblast are really 2 different games

 

 

sure, the basic gameplay element in the two games are the same, but astroblast is a manic shooter that is over in a matter of minutes, and astrosmash is a trance shooter that most people can play for hours. at the X6 level in astrosmash, the speed is pretty much the same as the standard level in astroblast.

I played Astroblast for a good 1-2 hours before I got bored with it. 1-2 hours as in, the same play.

 

Guess I will be playing Astrosmash on X6 level.

 

 

I'm liking the games so far. I really wish there was a Berzerk for it.

 

Now I'm going to have to clone berzerk on another damn console.

Just wait till the 300 or 500ks mark! You'll see some fast...

problem is, takes a while to get there.

 

Intellivision going slowly is sort of a misconception... the screen has trouble scrolling quickly, but the actual gameplay can get very fast,

like the game Mouse Trap... I played it on easy, game 1 or 2, got passed 500,000...damn is that fast or what!

What about defender style games? Anything?

 

 

 

He Man Masters of the Universe is a decent side-scrolling shooter, IMO.
