Just shootin a quick question to you in the know...what's the average price of an original Asteroids cabinet is good shape going for these days? I'd like to see what you have to say before I pull the trigger on my first machine. Thanks!

Astroids was my first coin-op purchase. I wish I still had it .. worth every penny.

Wow!...I haven't found one for less than a grand, and the one in question for a couple hundred more than that.

I got mine for a little over $500.. was in good shape, from a dealer in 1993 or thereabouts. I'm sure $1000 is reasonable for the same thing nowadays.
