Wow! Best PoKey tune I have ever heard. Perfectly in tune, and that digi-drum track is phenomenal! Can't wait to share this with fellow geek at work tomorrow. Already sent link to my only buddy into computers longer than I have been (not fair - he is 15 years older).

Then you should check all the tunes by Fred Brooker (his real name is Filip Oscadal) in ASMA. I especially like the songs from Vaxeen music collection. Use ASMAdb to find and/or listen to it :-)

You should listen to kohina radio sometimes ;)

But, in fact, it's the overall most advanced tune in several cases.

A dream would come true , if having such drums and hardsynth in one tracker. And some musicians like Oscadal doing their part then.

Very nice bass and drumline.

The synths remind me strongly on Zybex and Draconus.

Not the best POKEY chiptune I've heard, but absolutely the best 4-bit PCM I've hard in any POKEY tune and the best compromise of PCM with synth on POKEY. (maybe the best use of 4-bit PCM I've heard on any platform :D)

I wonder if it kept the overhead low enough to allow that music engine to be used in-game.

what if this tune was done in MPT?

Well - it MIGHT be done in MPT 9.9 (version manipulated some day by Jaskier/Taquart), as it uses volume codes for 15kHz samples, but it's apparently the music is "a bit" older, so it's rather Fred Brooker's own player.
