DJ Clae #1 Posted February 10, 2011 I noticed that Plutos and Sirius didn't have videos on Youtube, so I went ahead and made some. These were captured from my 7800 system with 8bitdomain's S-video mod. The carts were made by CPUWIZ, and are fantastic. Sirius: Plutos:
DracIsBack #2 Posted February 10, 2011 Nice - thanks for posting these! You're much better at SIRIUS than I am!
Atarifever #3 Posted February 10, 2011 Man, you got a second player! I never get a second person to play that with me. My wife will play Blades of Steel or Mario 3 2 player, and one of my friends loves to play Combat, but other than that I can't get any 2 player action on the go on classic systems. Yea, the biggest problem I have is that typically if I'm playing any kind of 2-player action it's on-line. My closest buddy who's interested in gaming is crosstown, and meeting up is just not usually in the cards, at least during the week.
+Stephen #5 Posted February 10, 2011 Those games look great! How are they in stereo?
DJ Clae #6 Posted February 10, 2011 It was my brother and me. We used to play games together all the time as kids, and around holidays when we can get together we still make a good team. My 3 brothers and I are a gaming family. Sorry for the brightness level, we had some issues with the S-video on my capture card being too dark. Those games look great! How are they in stereo? The A/V mod separates the two sound channels into left and right stereo. I usually just use a Y jack to merge them back down to mono because I don't like it, but I figured 'what the hell' for the Youtube video.
Austin #7 Posted February 11, 2011 Thanks for putting these together. I meant to do the same but never got around to it.

spiffyone #9 Posted February 12, 2011 Great vids. Are they still selling these on carts? Searched the store, can't see them, and the other retro game stores are all out. I know you can order custom carts here, but how does that work? And can it be done for Sirius and Plutos? Anyone?
Austin #10 Posted February 12, 2011 I think CPUWIZ still makes them if you ask him. Labels and all. I also have a copy each of Sirius and Plutos that I have been looking to part with for a while now. No labels though.

+GroovyBee #12 Posted February 12, 2011 I've played both on my CC2 and they work fine on PAL. I can't remember where I got the ROMs from so I'll test the images in the 7800 rarity guide and let you know.

+Mitch #14 Posted February 13, 2011 The final release of the fixed Sirius and Plutos ROMs should correctly auto-detect NTSC or PAL. Mitch
Eckhard Stolberg #15 Posted February 13, 2011 The final release of the fixed Sirius and Plutos ROMs should correctly auto-detect NTSC or PAL. Mitch Yes, when we fixed the prototypes to work on ROM, I made them PAL/NTSC aware. Both games will show a stable centered picture on PAL, but the colours will be a bit off and they will play a little slower than on NTSC.
