atari st wico trackball?

i found an atari st wico trackball for sale. it has two toggle switches on the front. i have no idea what they are for but was wanting to know if it would work with an atari 2600?

It should, just as an ST mouse will work on a 2600 (left-button only though).

 

Not that you're likely to find much in the way of software for it, but maybe there's a few homebrews and hacks around.

i dont want it for the st, i want it for missle command on my 2600 or 7800.
