outburst402 #1 Posted February 14, 2011 I have an 800XL with a 1050 disk drive. It comes with power adapters for both, a 3ft and 6ft peripheral cables, a quickshot joystick and 150+ floppy disks with lots of games and apps. Some of the disks have a dozen or more atari games on each. There are original disks for Ultima 2 & 4, superman and DOS XL. I got this system about 15 years ago and it has been boxed in my basement for most of this time. I did hook it up yesterday and everything worked. I played several games using my Nintendo RF cable. outburst402 #2 Posted February 14, 2011 The system is kinda dirty and dusty, but like i said it does work. Most of the disks are in sleeves and are in good shape except that some of the labels are falling off with age. I was thinking about throwing this system away as i haven't used it in years, but thought others might want it. I figure it will cost about $35 to ship so i won't sell it for any less. Make me a reasonable offer and whoever has the best offer by friday wins. I accept paypal. I'll list some (but not possibly all) of the games.

BigO #5 Posted February 14, 2011 Do you happen to live up the street from me? Sounds similar to something my neighbor was saying recently.
outburst402 #6 Posted February 14, 2011 Probably i don't live up the street and i'll see about pics. I'm doing all of this from my phone, thats why it took me three posts just to list it all.
Defender II #7 Posted February 15, 2011 Probably i don't live up the street and i'll see about pics. I'm doing all of this from my phone, thats why it took me three posts just to list it all. Can you list any cartridges that are included?
outburst402 #8 Posted February 15, 2011 There is only one cartridge. It says "atari logo*" on the face and something about left side on the top. It seems like it is some sort of programming app, but i don't know.

+orpheuswaking #13 Posted February 17, 2011 35 is around what i can afford can you contact me with details pleas. this looks interesting and i'm looking for some 8 bit equipment. I think you will find that the first post stated $35 shipping, in addition to offers...
accousticguitar #14 Posted February 18, 2011 The way I understand it the offer includes shipping therefore $35 is the minimum offer.
outburst402 #15 Posted October 3, 2011 Bump Also, the guy who said he would pay 100 for this never did and i've been busy this summer so i haven't done anything with this. I'm hoping to use this for a trade, but if someone wants to give me money, feel free.
+wood_jl #16 Posted October 3, 2011 Also - looks like the power supply for the 800XL is the **GOOD ONE** (silver label) so that's a plus, for this offering!

accousticguitar #18 Posted October 3, 2011 That's a nice setup! I can't believe it hasn't sold yet.
labrat #19 Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) That's a nice setup! I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. Yeah. The extra switches and light on the 1050 suggest some modification, which can add some bucks to the value. Maybe you could identify which from a look inside (or post a pic). Grig #20 Posted October 4, 2011 Hi. I've still got the PS3 for trade if you'd like. I PM'd you earlier but it may not have gone through. I'd be very interested in the trade. PM me if you get a chance. Thanks. Jon

It may be a different version of the Controller(if they made more than one) or a cloned mod. If there is a Happy software disk in the collection I would recommend booting it to verify if the 1050 is recognized as a Happy modified drive.
