ApolloBoy #101 Posted April 2, 2013 I asked somewhere else already, but... does anyone on the forum do a region mod/video mod for the US T16 or sell modded pc engines? I have a US model but would like a spare that can play imports. I do them as well though I like working with the PCE more because I find that they're more robust than the TG-16. gorfcadet #102 Posted April 2, 2013 Thanks guys! With what evilbay prices are getting to for systems and adapters, I think region mods are going to become the number one option for HuCard collectors.
Koopa64 #103 Posted April 16, 2013 Not that anyone would care, but I sold my TG16 stuff a long while back. If I ever decide to get back into Turbo / PC Engine, I'm doing it the right way with a Duo. There ain't much to play on a TG16...
ZuluGula #104 Posted April 27, 2014 I can't get TG16 and Everdrive to work. I have two systems, one appears to be dead (white screen). Second will give me yellow screen without cart, it plays original HuCard (Keith Courage) and can load menu screen from Everdrive. I got couple of roms from RomNation (for example I have five versions of Magical Chase) but they don't load. I'm using Sandisk 2GB card formatted in fat32 under OSX, roms are loaded unziped in root directory. After I select a game, screen display "LOADING..." message for couple seconds, led on Everdrive lights red but then all I get is black screen and nothing happens. Any Ideas? Zap! #105 Posted April 27, 2014 The Keith Courage is a great title. It gets some flak for being the pack in, but for some reason it is as dear to me as many of the so called gems for the system. AX I got my TG in October of 1989, and always thought Keith Courage In Alpha Zones was a horrible idea for a pack-in game. I just could never get into it. To me it seemed like a bad NES game from 1987 with improved graphics.
