keithbk #1 Posted February 17, 2011 I know there have been lots of people who have modded their Atari 2600's for S-Video output. Just wondering, anyone have any people they recommend to do this? I would like to have my 2600 updated, but really don't have the confidence to try it myself. Prefer someone with a good track record of reliability and turn-around
LittleJoe #2 Posted February 17, 2011 I'd be happy to do it. You can check my AtariAge marketplace feedback, or my eBay feedback. I can give you 1 week turnaround. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=pakratfever&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller
keithbk #3 Posted February 17, 2011 I have an Atari Junior I would like to have modded. There's one other thing, it has a broken cartridge guide tab that needs to be replaced too. What would it cost me?
A.J. Franzman #4 Posted February 17, 2011 I think the cartridge guide in a Junior is part of the top of the casing, so there's really no replacement available unless you can get a whole other top (possibly scavenge one from a dead unit).
LittleJoe #5 Posted February 17, 2011 Your right AJ. I've got a few spares, but the aluminum is a little old looking. Anyone successful in heating and removing the aluminum label on a jr? I'm going to try grafting the plastic from a six switch to see if that's an option. I just noticed that the port plastic on a jr is the same as a 7800. I wonder what they had in mind regarding that.
