+thegoldenband #7 Posted February 23, 2011 I have a loose Generator Vol. 2 disc (it came inside a Dreamcast I bought), but I've never been able to get it to boot. I seem to remember reading that other people have had the same problem -- maybe the date and time settings affect it? If it's of interest, feel free to PM me! +thegoldenband #9 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) I was going to offer my disc to you for the cost of shipping, but I suspect it's just junk. I had thought it was an incompatibility, but now I'm thinking the disc is bad. This thread seems to indicate that by the time Generator Vol. 2 came out, Sega had worked out the pressing problems it experienced on early titles. Either way, my copy kicks back to the main menu whenever I try to play it. I burned a Utopia 1.3 disc just now in an effort to get it to load, but no dice -- the Utopia loader gets stuck at 3%, and eventually the GD-ROM just gives up on it. (Of course it doesn't boot my import copy of Blue Stinger either, but at least that gets through the bootloader before it kicks back to the main menu.)
