A_Locomotive
So I found these 6 Windows 3.11 3 1/2in floppy disks while cleaning recently and I'm curious if they are worth anything? I figured this was probably a good place to ask. The disks are numbered 1-6, is that a complete set of them?
The Usotsuki
Being 3.1x not Windows for Workgroups, yes, there are 6 disks. But I doubt they're worth much, honestly.

Whats Windows for Workgroups? I didn't really expect them to be worth anything but figured I'd ask just to be sure. I'm not going to through them out or anything. I think its kind of neat to still have them.
The Usotsuki
WFW is a bit improved over the regular 3.1, has better drivers and networking support (it's easier to get online with) but requires a 386 and takes a bit more floppies. nathanallan
Yep, looks like the complete set. As loose disks not worth much, but if you can put them with the manuals and box about 20-35 USD to a collector. Neat find, a complete set. Do you have a 386 or 486 you want to get working? That's what I would want to do.

It's basically Windows 3.1 with a few "extras": 32-bit file access, TCP/IP compatibility (although it didn't actually come with TCP/IP; you had to install third-party protocol stacks and dialers), and so forth. There are still places that sell shrinkwrapped bundles of DOS 6.22 and WFW 3.11, so those disks aren't especially valuable.
