SOLD!: Atari Jaguar CD unit BOXED with extras

Recommended Posts

UNIT IS SOLD! THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Hi I just put this up on ebay, but the winner was an international buyer which I do not deal with through Ebay.

So the item is still up for grabs

Here's the details:

This is a Atari Jaguar CD unit. I bought this back in the late 90's. As a kid I always loved videogames. Today I went into the Attic and found this boxed. I figured I'd sell it not as boxed, since after all, I did take it out of the box to play it as a youngster. It has been used, but cosmetically looks brand new. The only damage is to the Styrofoam inside of the box see the pictures. I guess as a teenager I boxed it up with some ceranwrap and stored it away.

COMES WITH:

With Box with power supply

jaguar instructions which i dont think are for the cd unit (but I'll throw them in just incase

demo / game discs

(Myst demo / Vid Grid & Blue Lightning (with pad overlay - All these look brand new? )

I cannot find the tempest soundtrack, probably in my cd case somewhere collecting dust? sorry

&

HOVER STRIKE: UNCONQUERED LANDS - HOVER STRIKE is still factory sealed. See picture below

I watch the jaguar stuff all the time and when something sells you see it resell not too long after. Good luck with this. Thanks for the post.

It didnt sell. The unit is still for sale.

hey sorry to bring up a "dead" post, but the unit is still for sale. Turns out EBAY allowed a guy from Uruguay to bid/win which I specifically excluded shipping outside the USA. I even wrote the guy a personal message stating if he wanted to bid on it he would have to give me a US shipping address to ship to. I've had trouble with customs in the past with ebay. Then i asked ebay to nullify the auction after it was over and the guy tried to give me his south american shipping address. I called ebay support and they told me there's nothing they can do. The guy leaves me negative feedback, and ebay won't retract it. Even though I clearly stated in the auction i will only Ship to the 48 USA states, i personally messaged the high bidder before the auction ended letting him know. I am never using ebay again.

So the atari jaguar CD unit is still for sale. And i would definitely ship anywhere, just not through ebay.

What is the price?

sorry! Forgot: asking $200 paypal as gift

:ponder:

Due to recent problems AA users have found with Paypal Gift payments I don't think you will find any takers.

If you want to sell it, I suggest accepting regular Paypal purchase payments.

Ask the Ax if you don't believe me.

I would like to get one of these, but they appear to be out of my price range. :(

ok no prob. It completely makes sense seeing as I am new to these forums. I'm not really an atari dude.

Paypal non-gift but buyer's got to cover the 3 or 4% fee (add it to final cost) Thats how we do it on neo-geo.com selling forums

that's fair, no?

I have good history on other sites like ebay,

User: Mikeweit Feedback is golden (except for the Uruguay ordeal above)

Seller on Neo-geo.com forums where i've been a member since 2001, all positive feedback. I'm new here because frankly i'm just into Arcade machines these days. I was selling this stuff on the neo geo forums but there's kinda a different crowd there.

As far as price, i'm down to reconsider my asking price just shoot me a pm and we'll work something out. I can understand the paypal purchase just i've been scammed as well, and frankly if I need to send this overseas and customs grabs it i'm out the money like ebay style, you know?

Thanks for the advice and let me know if this is better

Hmm still up huh, I was not aware of any problems with gift payments. I have not had any except for being ripped off once on here. By the way does it work fine?

i think the jag sold for around $60 and the NIB memory unit for like $12 iirc

I'm still heated with the whole ebay ordeal and very hesitant to sell anything there again. If I could do it over I would have listed the whole package here instead before throwing everything on ebay. but hindsight is 20/20
