PeculiarSatyr #1 Posted February 26, 2011 How does your bid compare? This chart shows how your bid compares to the average price that similar items have sold for on eBay in the last 15 days. Your max bid Average price US $20.00 US $1,003.00 This information is intended only as a guide. You should always read the item description and pricing information carefully before bidding on an item. According to ebay the average price of a "Final Fantasy 1 Nintendo Nes Original Rare Classic!!!!" is $1,003.00. I'm curious how ebay came to this price... MagitekAngel #2 Posted February 26, 2011 I assume it was sealed... But that still sounds like a lot. My loose copy was 12 dollars at a brick and mortar store.
Reaperman #3 Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) But average price? Like a lot of copies sold for more than $1000? I can understand maybe one or two going to $1000, but not enough to bring the average to that. Heck, $20 seems well into the high side. There aren't many video games I can think of with an average price near or above $1000. Edited February 26, 2011 by Reaperman
HatefulGravey #4 Posted February 26, 2011 I bought my copy and a copy for a friend at $5 each in a brick and mortar store that is known to have stupid high prices. I guess I got lucky.
TheGameCollector #5 Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) I bet the price of $1000 is not for the individual game, but a CIB set of every Final Fantasy game ever made bundled together. Sometimes when a title is grouped with its sequels in a bundle the average price shown can skyrocket. I have seen sealed Final Fantasy for NES for only $100-$150 before so I don't think $1000 stands for the game by itself. PsychoKittyNet #6 Posted February 26, 2011 I paid 8 for mine, I really doubt a loose copy could go for over a grand, unless the buyer was retarded.
Arkhan #7 Posted February 27, 2011 I got mine for free from my uncle. I assume he bought it retail, lol.
