Hello everyone,

My name is Jorge Murphy and I'm the owner and Editor In Chief at OldSchoolJunkie.com, I hope everyone is having a great retro day..!

I run a growing website that features retro and indie games but mostly focusing on retro videos. I'm a huge retro collector and have just about every console since the 2600. I'm slowly moving into offering custom retro cables and accessories for our ever growing gaming community. I'm so tired of having to pay death dealing prices for items I know should be valued for much less than most auction sites seem to offer.

I'll be manufacturing a super high quality Atari Jaguar S-Video cable for anyone willing to pay for it. I do not know of a set price yet, but I'm leaning towards a $25.00 price tag and will be shipping with in the US via USPS flat rate boxes. I'm waiting for my flat rate boxes and will update you on the flat rate shipping cost.

I'm waiting for my business bank account documents in the mail and then going to the town hall for a business Tax ID to then complete and register my company on PayPal to begin taking orders and shipping out as fast as I can. I will be working with local manufacturers to produce a high quality product that you can be proud of purchasing.

I know how we are as collectors, we like shiny new things, so I'll also be actively looking for a retail packaging manufacturer as well.

My goal is to make the entire transaction fast safe and fun. Plus make a nice package for you to open, not just a baggy and cardboard flap. ^_^

Here are a few pictures of the official working prototype HERE.

I've also gone ahead and made an article showcasing the difference and benefit of getting our Atari Jaguar S-Video cable HERE.

I hope to get some buzz out to see how much interest there really is out in the Jaguar community. I've already received great feedback from my Twitter followers and all of my Jaguar fans.

I will also design the Composite and/or the combo cable if I get enough requests for either one. But, the over all consensuses is that the S-Video would be the best bet for use on our modern HDTVs.

But, please hit me up on Twitter for the fastest response from me directly. You can also send feedback to contribute [at] oldschooljunkie [dot] com.

Here's the thing, I have the components for building up to 8 new S-Video cables, the thing is more about shipping. I looked into the flat rate options and the lowest price I found was $15. If I could get a good price for them I would start taking orders. I don't have a store link for my website. But, do have a merchant PayPal account. If you could spread the word around and if I get enough people promising to pay for them, then I'll take orders. But, not to those just interested in an availability. I need guaranteed sales not just window shoppers. These ultra high quality cables are fully tested on actual hardware before they are quality approved.

So far the going price for building these cables is as follows: shipping and packaging will be $50 for international orders that's $35 for cable plus $15 for shipping...and Domestic US orders will be $45 which is $35 for cable and $10 for shipping.

I know it seems high and I wish I had the means to offer it at a lower price. I can't afford the $4000.00 it will cost to get them manufactured in bulk to bring the cost down a lot more.

So if I can get eight 100% positive sales via PayPal I will ship these out A.S.A.P....thanks.!

I have my prototype S-Video and I can never go back to the standard switch box image again...!

Those are not much different from the ones I've been selling. I see you are using heat shrink tubbing on the card edge. If you going to go all professional on them which it looks like you are with a tax ID and what not you would well served to look into injection molding to make them the most professional appearance wise.
