Matterhorn, post your picture

Who has an original Matterhorn cartridge?

I keep reading that 10 are known to exist!!!?

Is it really necessary to open yet another topic about your hunt for a Matterhorn (and probably Espial) cart? It makes it look like your whole life depends on having those 2 carts. Just let it go and keep reading. Writing about these won't bring them to the surface any quicker.

qix_manic, you never updated your own post with the very same information in which you were requesting. :)

I happened upon your reply (with collection pic) to a post for cart storage and I do believe I see a Matterhorn (July 2011).

and many other pages. You know there is a search button here at AA forums ? Just use "Matterhorn" as the search string...

I'm not sure who this is directed at? The original post is dated 2011, those links are after (at least two out of the three). But nonetheless, the point (as lame as it was by me :P) was that the poster didn't even let us know that he has one.

:) :) :-o

Ok, Matterhorn inventory time...

Post your picture if you have one and how long you've had it! and how you were lucky to acquire it!

You probably already know this, but on ebay you can do a search for "matterhorn atari", and then save that search. Ebay will then email you anytime those keywords appear in an ebay listing. So it will constantly search for you.

Cheers.

Yep, but in 7 years I've only seen one and it was listed at $1,500 or $3,000, it's been so long.

Being curious about the game, I loaded it into my Atari emulator today and it took me about 20 minutes to finally figure out how to start/play the game. In Atari800Win, the only way to play the game is with the mouse emulating a joystick ..... And it's kinda hard to control the guy with the mouse.

Can you believe this eBay auction. The condition of this cart is extremely poor. It appears to have been left in a lake for some time.

And the last Matterhorn that sold on eBay went for something around $800.
