birdie3 #1 Posted December 16, 2002 Does anybody have some information regarding doing business with this company?? They seem quite good not only for accessories but also for hard to find games as well.

King Atari #4 Posted December 16, 2002 While I have never ordered from them, I have heard many good things about them, so you should be safe.

Inky #6 Posted December 16, 2002 My only dealing with them was to buy the switches for my 7800, cuz that's all I needed... Well, the switches are 75 cents, and what happened was that the guy informed me I had to spend $20, despite the fact that the website doesn't say that anywhere. They're probably pretty good, but I can't order from them until I have $20 in my budget to spend, which may be a while.
Curt Vendel #7 Posted December 16, 2002 I've been dealing with Best since the late 80's, Brad is a firm, but honest business man and he's very professional and deliveries on his promises... Also Best has the most extensive supply of parts and pieces to almost all Atari systems, so when it comes to parts and even custom designed components, he most certainly lives up to his companies name: Best!!! I highly recommend purchasing a copy of the latest Best Electronics Catalog, its about 1 1/2" thick and chock full of products & good info on each item, chips listings and also a nice feature is the back of the catalog with pinouts and info on every Atari plug/device manufactured, worth the cost alone just to have that. Not to play down the other dealers like B&C Computervisions, Bruce & Cathy are close friends and they have been toughing it out all these years selling Atari-only products, they've introduced a lot of demo's and other stuff too and they've got a great selection of Atari items (although they don't do much 5200 products anymore) Lance at Video61 Atarisales has been doing a lot of unique products too, going out and licensing products from old Atari 8bit software developers and converting much of their works into cartridge format, recently he and Scott Adams (of legendary Adventure International) worked together to get Scotts incredible games onto cart format and available once again to 8bits.... Thiese are the last of the original 80's Atari only stores still active and supporting Atari's. Curt

PackratVG #9 Posted December 17, 2002 I've purchased from Brad before and can vouch for him. I was on a tight schedule and he sent out my order right away. I called and spoke with him directly. He was very courteous and helpful. Overall I was very pleased. Jarett Waite Owner Packrat Video Games
