Mr Zero's haul for today

Recommended Posts

So I was on Craigslist's video games section where this store called Mr Zero's kept advertising. I flagged the ads(inappropriate), but I went ahead & visited the store.

Well, it does have its classic gaming chops here! Not just vintage toys & music. I saw a boxed CV expansion module 2 for $35. A Colecovision(bare console + 2 controllers) for a whopping $135.

An atari 5200 with one seized controller for $50.

The prices were just a tad high here. By their pricings, I have over $400 worth of stuff to sell! But I started hunting around anyway & bought some CV games, and this little ditty:

Yep, a supercharger! I hope this works on a CV module 1, or I wasted my money. All in all what you see here cost me $69. I didn't realize I wrongly picked up that stupid Smurfs game until I got home with it.

Has anyone heard of "Blockade runner" for the Inty? It's for sale there for $9. It looks rare. There's a collection of loose & games with instructions(no boxed) and boxed games. They wanted I think 70 for an Atari 7800.

Bascially, anything pre-crash has a significantly higher price tag on it. I did see some rare games in there though, with not too bad of padding for rarity. I saw one of those aftermarket intellivison-like controllers that you touch to move around. They also had a boxed trackball I probably should have picked up.

All in all, not a bad place. CV controllers(one had some aftermarket stick on it) for 15? Okay. I'm willing to pay a bit more if it means no shipping or eBay fees. There's more rare games than expected there buried in the commons.

So that's my little reward for the day after a stresful work week. No where do I get those dang supercharger roms to burn on a CD? heh.
