Beeshu Ultimate Superstick

Recommended Posts

I have one, they seem to be really rare for the NES but mine has a 2600 connector. Maybe its a mastersystem controller but I know its pretty sweet for the 2600. I've been meaning to look it up but all I find is the NES version.

Anyone know what the deal is? Do I have something rare here?

Nobody here knows anything about this stick? It really must be rare then... I'll take a picture tonight and see if that helps any.

Obviously that one's for the NES...

That looks like a somewhat nice stick.

That is it, and it is a very nice stick to use.

I've seen a few of these on eBay, and I've considered picking one up (design seems nice). I think I saw a review for it once (I don't remember where) that gave it an unfavorable score...

I'm sure there are people that don't like it, but its a pretty solid stick. Its a great stop-gap between the normal 2600 controller, which hurts my hands sometimes, and the Genesis controller which just feels like punching puppies.

I'm going to be trying to do a micro switch mod on a 2600 controller this coming week btw, and that might be nice enough to replace this stick in use. Wish me luck.

I just saw one of these (NES) at a local shop… I handled it for a moment and it does feel nice - I like click sticks so I may go back and grab it (if it's still there…) they were asking $11.99 but aw well…

I know that this stick was also made for the Turbo Grafx 16 - I'd really like to get that one, but I can only imagine how difficult that will be to find!

I remember seeing advertisements for these in gaming magazines back in the proverbial day. And I didn't know there was a TG-16 version, I'd be interested in that!

I was just about to list the boxed DB9 and the Hot Stuff sticks. I don't use them and I have to cut back to get other things I really want. Funny to see this thread bumped literally as I was photographing to post them in marketplace.

Do any of the Beeshu controllers have a 7800 mode other than the Zoomer? I haven't seen one but I thought I'd ask.

I can mod any of them to be 7800 for sure. Not sure if I could retain the dial a speed or not. I'm learning about microprocessors, and it may be worth a try anyway.

Actually I was thinking about it more from a collecting point of view. I already have my own custom controllers that I built. Thanks for asking though.
