Does a supercharger work with CV Atari expansion?

Supercharger Atari 2600 module.

 

Three Colecovisions

Three Atari 2600 CV Expansion modules.

 

No luck.

 

Are they simply not compatible? I saw a YouTube video with a guy who had the Gemini expansion module, and his Supercharger setup worked just fine. All I get is a black screen or some plaid pattern on the screen.

 

Tried cleaning contacts, etc. Works fine with other 2600 modules, but no luck at all.

 

I'm wondering if the module is just bunk. It doesn't "click" into the slot like standard 2600 modules.

Never tried it myself, but from what I've heard, the SuperCharger doesn't fit correctly into the Expansion Module #1 unless you alter the SC's casing somehow. That's all I know.

Hmm, can I file it down a bit?

According to wikipedia, it can't be done unless I remove the cover off of the CV module. How much do I have to file it down for it to fit correctly?
