Sega Master System Console box really wanted

Recommended Posts

Exactly as title states...

I should have opted for buying a cib sms as that would have been easier than trying to find a system box for it afterwards  Does not have to be this exact box btw...just an example (although I do have the gun)

But if anyone can even point me to somewhere I can even buy one, I'd be very grateful. Willing to trade or buy or do a combo.

Also looking for a GB micro, preferably w/ box...never had one and thought they are cute. Also looking to trade/buy/combo for one. Thanks!

Can't do it. Don't have the heart to break up a good packed set. ;)

I'd suggest buying a boxed complete one then selling the loose one later if need be. :ponder:

Wasn't looking to sell, just to offer some advice. If I was going to sell one, it would be around $75. The only "extra" one I've got has lots of box yellowing, but I bought it anyway since it's a rare early 3010 A model. 3010 A or B had the built-in games. The very first ones of that series had the A added to an existing serial# sticker.

What condition grade are you looking for? One of my family members has one and there are 2 stores within 10 miles of here that carry them.

Well I didn't know about the "A" and "B" models which led me to scan mine and low and behold, the #'s are: 48A01026 ;)

As for grade...I am not to hardcore about the condition of this box,but now I'd like the matching...lol

Not quite. :) I was referring to the model#. SMS 1's are model 3010. Later revisions are 3010A and 3010B, etc. 3010A has Hang-on/Safari Hunt built in and 3010B has only Hang-on. The Sega Base System versions are the toughest to find boxed. My family member says they're keeping their boxed system. I looked at it and condition sucks anyway. I'll keep an eye out for 'em.

This one's cool but missing cords, also price is high but arguable.
