xg4bx #1 Posted March 19, 2011 Link only- http://www.gamersmint.com/microsoft-shows-off-future-graphic-tech-for-xbox-360 Sure it would take a hit when actual gameplay is inserted but that looks damn nice for an almost 6 year old console.
moycon #2 Posted March 19, 2011 I didn't realize that Project Milo was never ment to be released. Not that I personally would have been interested in it, but I figured it was going to be some sort of tech demo packaged with the Kinect. I actually kind of forgot about it until you posted this. Video #3 Posted March 20, 2011 Nifty, but until it's implemented it doesn't mean much does it? Kind of reminds me of the 3DTrex thing for the PSX (don't laugh, that was amazing for it's time) Maybe it'll be a view of what the next generation should be able to do
Tr3vor #4 Posted March 21, 2011 it may have polygons and stuff, but I think thats brown beyond mw2
Keatah #5 Posted May 17, 2011 (edited) Well, this just goes to show you how much hardware is completely wasted today. Look at what they are uncovering now. Absolutely no need to be throwing away a good console! Just upgrade its programming and you're on your way. Eventually the 2600 will be doing shit like this before long. I hope they loose the brown-tan tinting to everything though. Must be a graphic artist fad or something. An attempt at "cut sophistication"?? I don't like it and I tend to avoid stuff like this. So despite the technical achievement, it is definitely lost on me. And what's with the Halo-matrix glowing? That's old-man cataract-disease! Very unpleasant to look at. Tr3vor #6 Posted May 18, 2011 Wow, that has way too much bloom. It sorta reminds me of GTA4. why is almost every surface trying to blind me?
+Random Terrain #7 Posted May 18, 2011 I've been fooled by demos and promises before. I'm not going to do a happy dance until I'm playing an actual game that uses this new technology.
Tr3vor #8 Posted May 18, 2011 I've been fooled by demos and promises before. I'm not going to do a happy dance until I'm playing an actual game that uses this new technology. There's been about 2 games that use this technology, for computers only. Not to bring up a flame war, but is the PS3 capable of tessillation?
Pixelboy #9 Posted May 18, 2011 (edited) Yet another opportunity for a visual remake of Myst. Edited May 18, 2011 by Pixelboy
ATARI7800fan #10 Posted May 23, 2011 (edited) If they could do this in games and still get a good constant frame-rate it will just go to show that consoles generations only being 5 years long like some people want is a waste of console power and potential. Seob #11 Posted May 26, 2011 I don't care. As long as the gameplay is all right. I hate to have a 4 hour game run trough because a developer has put in more work in graphics then in story and gameplay.
