Apparently I am the only one maybe who hasn't received my guide I bought from him back on Feb. 25th

He hasn't been on this site since the 1st of March and won't respond to his regular emails as well.

I received my games from him. The weird thing is I was setup to do a deal with him on a JVC X'Eye and a CDI... both of which he was interested in buying from me until about the same time you mention... it's like he's dropped off the face of the Earth. I hope he's OK and all but it is pretty frustrating.

 

Is it a breach of etiquette to request Al or another SysOp contact him directly to see what's up?

I think so. Doing Marketplace business is "at your own risk" and I don't know that the SysOps would oblige to contacting someone whenever a deal goes sour - assuming that they even have legit contact info. As a member, I would advise the SysOps not to get caught in the middle of Marketplace transactions.

 

However, it's a good idea to start threads like this in the event that another member may know this person who could contact on behalf of the OP.
