+save2600 #2 Posted April 1, 2011 Expressing interest in the PS X change disc, but had a few questions. I have a PS2 with the Free McBoot on a card. Am I good to go playing import PAL PS1 games on it by any chance? If not, does the ps-x-change disc you have allow you to play Import PS1 games on a PS2? If so, I'd like that disc... orangest #3 Posted April 1, 2011 My PS2 is unmodded, so I can only speak from that experience, but I could not get PS1 imports to work; I've read that it won't work at all on a PS2, but I don't know if that's only referring to unmodded consoles. This FAQ (from 2004) states that PAL games will play normally (but in black and white) for a few minutes and then the screen will start rolling. I should also state that the spring and sticky tab used to keep the PS lid open for swapping are not included, just the disc and case. I didn't realize until doing this research now that they were part of the package, and I'll knock a few bucks off the price accordingly. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
