NASA relies on Aquarius

NASA is launching Aquarius into space to expand our understanding of the Earth.

 

I always suspected that Aquarius computers were secretly embedded in the Space Shuttle and the Hubble Space Telescope. People called me a "complete idiot" for believing so. It turns out things may not be so "complete" after all. Ha!

 

Here's the proof I have attained through Wikileaks!

 

"Aquarius will measure ocean surface salinity by sensing thermal microwave emissions from the water's surface with a radiometer. When other environmental factors are equal, these emissions indicate how salty the surface water is. Because salinity levels in the open ocean vary by only about five parts per thousand, Aquarius employs new technologies to detect changes in salinity as small as about two parts per 10,000, equivalent to about one-eighth of a teaspoon of salt in a gallon of water."

Hey, that reminds me ... have you guys heard that Mattel has released a new Aquarius?! It's true!

The original Aquarius had ample processing power, and the new Aquarius has ample...proportions.

 

It's all made in China, anyway. Well, the Aquarius was made in British Hong Kong, but now it's China again.
