108 Stars
I'd take a copy of Black Ice\White Noise though if you did one. Couldn't do that. Black Ice\White Noise is a damn nice and promising beta, while Fight for Life is pummeled even by "Boxing" on the Atari 2600 gameplaywise. NinjaFlicker
Will this have better AI than the other ports? Hype aside, the original game is kind of horrible as a one player experience.
LordKraken
Better AI = advanced algorithm = you probably need power OK but you surely need RAM, and because of all sprites, RAM is going to fall short.
Kiwi
Are the Lynx sprite capabilities considerably better than the GGs, so that we could see a considerable improvement on the choppy gameplay?. Its already been mentioned that the extra ram on the Lynx compared to the GG is gonna make the game a bit smoother, but also the extra sprite power is gonna help in that regard too, right?. So, more ram overall, using smaller sprites so that the usage of said ram can be further optimized, and more sprite power...seems like this project could end up playing way better than the GG and GB ports. Der Luchs, you music is awesome! The reason Game Gear is choppy because it has to print one of the character on the tilemap and the other character as sprites, and this system is limited to 64 8x8 or 8x16 sprites with scanline limitation of 8 sprites. Mortal Kombat for the Lynx will definitely better than the Game Gear version.

Also, we all have noticed that unlike the wimpy consoles like the Game Boy and Game Gear, the Lynx actually features parallax scrolling in many of its games. Does parallax scrolling eat away much RAM?, it shouldnt be one of the priorities of this project, but if posible, why not, right? But i totally agree with 108 Stars, gameplay comes first, so the priority should be sprite animation. Also, we may not have Matt Furniss to do the awesome music like he did on the Megadrive port, but we have Der Luchs!
