Ataritard #4 Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) It's perfect. Nicely done. Now make the couch look like an Atari 2600. Edited April 5, 2011 by Ataritard
0078265317 #5 Posted April 5, 2011 I don't know what happened to the couch comment. But that would be cool making a couch look like an atari 2600.
Cebus Capucinis #6 Posted April 5, 2011 If only I had a shop and good woodworking tools.....Monkey Labs needs an R&D cash infusion!
Schizophretard #7 Posted April 5, 2011 That gives a new meaning to heavy sixer joystick. I would like to try to play a game with it.
0078265317 #8 Posted April 5, 2011 That gives a new meaning to heavy sixer joystick. I would like to try to play a game with it. You can't once its been gutted out and turned into a lamp. Unless you made it dual purpose. That would be so cool.
user42 #9 Posted April 5, 2011 If it was a working joystick it would be a nice addition to a room with this table... http://ultra-awesome.blogspot.com/2008/05/nes-coffee-table-final-post-rah.html

HatefulGravey #12 Posted April 5, 2011 You can get giant 2600 controllers? I have to get one of those just to have it. The lamp would be great for a game room too. You could put your giant 2600 controller lamp on your giant NES controller coffee table (because those are pretty sweet too) and be well on your way to a very impressive game room set up. OMG, add a kegarator and you could be a legend!
Ataritard #13 Posted April 8, 2011 I was going to build a little lamp with a regular controller a super bright led and a lampshade. After seeing this, my idea doesn't seem nearly as cool as I thought.
keithbk #14 Posted April 8, 2011 I don't know for certain, but I really think it's photoshopped. Something about the mixes in resolution of the joystick, lampshade, and shadows doesn't look right. That being said, it IS a great idea.
