moycon #2 Posted December 20, 2002 RF switch to connect to the TV. You can use the same one as your Atari (You do have an Atari right??) Also the cable between the unit and the RF switch. Yeah that one hella-power supply!
sku_u #3 Posted December 20, 2002 Yeah that one hella-power supply! Is the CV power supply bigger/heavier than the 5200's power supply?
MegaManFan #4 Posted December 20, 2002 Yeah that one hella-power supply! Is the CV power supply bigger/heavier than the 5200's power supply? Oh hell yes. The 5200 one is light by comparison. CV's is a MONSTAH!
RMila75 #5 Posted December 20, 2002 I used a plain old video extension cable to connect my Coleco system. Or you could use an NES video cable with the red and yellow RCA plugs. (just use one of the colors, of course) Instead of an old switch-type RF box, you might try using Radio Shack part number 278-276, F connector. It lets you plug the Coleco (or Atari, etc.) video cable directly into the back of your TV for a better picture than what you get with the old switch box. But you give up the "TV/Game" option. You'll have to disconnect the plug to use your cable TV or antenna when you're done playing games.
King Atari #6 Posted December 20, 2002 Oh hell yes. The 5200 one is light by comparison. CV's is a MONSTAH! Of course, in pure console "bigness", the 5200 wins!

sku_u #10 Posted December 21, 2002 WOW I always thought that the 5200 plug was the mother of all VG plugs. CV's plug has at least an inch on it.

minorleagueguy #12 Posted December 21, 2002 Thanks for all the help. I however, am not a glutten for punishment, so I will wait and go to the mall after Christmas. I noted the Radio Shack part number, and the cords, so hopefully, I can play ASAP Happy Holidays to all the good people here at Atari Age

oesii #14 Posted December 21, 2002 I think the 5200 PS may be heavier than the CV power supply, I just sent a CV priority and it was around $6. Cool to know in case you guys have to ship some of these out
