Finding Atari 2600 games in chronological order?

I want to know some of the titles that came after the original launch titles. Is there any website similar to

 

NESGuide.com where you can browse games based off of year?

www.rarityguide.com kind of does this.. You can only get a hundred at a time, though. I'm not sure how accurate it is.

I thought this was going to be a new collecting challenge -- who can collect, from the wild, every VCS game in the order they were released. Maybe that's the last remaining 2600 collector's challenge?!

My question is why? How would you prove you got them all in the right order? Who would care?

I don't think by "find" that JPjuice23's asking to collect them in order, but to "find a list" that has the release year. The AA list has a field for "Year of Release", but it's not filled in for most of the games (plus there's no way to sort the list by it).

Yeah lol no, the goal is to find a list because I want to start reviewing atari games on Youtube, and I thought there needs to be some more variety and more quality, which hopefully I can provide. I'd like to start with the earlier titles, and than make my way through the years.

Thanks, although it doesn't seem to have every Atari game there is. As I'm pretty sure there were more than 18 Atari games released in 1979. But it does help, so thank you

Just in case anyone else wondered, here's another alternative.

 

It's kind of cool to research games in the 50's. Interesting stuff.

 

And maybe there was only 18 Atari games released in that year lol wow.

Some catalogues will note at least an approximate relase date (e.g. "Available Fall 1982"). While this may not be especially accurate, for many titles it is going to be the only data available.

 

Media coverage of announcements at CES and other industry events will also give some idea of release dates, but there was so much vapourware announced and name changes before release that it is an even less reliable source.
