WTB - Working 2600 System, Any model.

Been a long time since I actually played a 2600 game on an actual TV. Haven't had (or even SEEN with my own eyes) a working 2600 since the mid 90's.

I'm most Interested in the heavy sixer due to the convenience of the difficulty switches, however it's a rarer system, pushing up the price, plus it's heavy as the moniker implies so I'd probably double shipping costs as opposed to geting a 2600jr, and all I really want is a WORKING 2600 with all the hookups. I have my old 2600jr's power supply still but I have NO way of knowing if it works... I have controllers, however I'll probably use my Genny 6-button pad like I use for everything else, Genesis, SMS, C64. I have some games already as listed in another post here when I was trying to sell them, since I had no takers (except master builder of course! and I sure don't miss that game), I might as well keep them and try and get a console and expand my collection instead of doing away with it.

So anyone with a spare console or two looking to help a fellow Atarian get back into the groove after 20 years, shoot me a PM please, or even just post here.

 

EDIT: At least one set of paddle controllers would be sweet too, I never did own a set even though I had a few games that required them!

I've got one, it's listed in the marketplace. Light sixer. The input for the power supply needs a little TLC (it's slightly loose), but it works. Comes with ONLY the unit and two games, Porky's and Robot Tank.
